    PREME RESPONSIBILITY


    the COMMANDER is primarily responsible to initiate a passenger



    evacuation.he is also responsible to keep
    the crew and passengers



    fully informed of
    his intentions should an emergency or



    precautionary disembarkation becomes
    necessary.



    in the event where it is certain
    that an evacuation is imperative



    or where no
    contact with the flight deck is possible, purser



    shall assume full responsibility for initiating a
    passenger



    evacuation



    TYPES OF
    EMERGENCY


    there are2 types of emergency
    landing that may occur on land or water


    prerared
    and unprepared


    crewmembers prime
    responsibilities during any emergency landing is to


    evacuate passengers through all available exits within 90
    seconds

    adequate time to prepare the aircraft,crew

    PSP are selected in assisting crew to
    facilitate rapid evacuation and assisting other


    safety duties

    of passengers have been trained in giving


    instructions and crowd control

    EVAC order:
    comply with EVAC order and shout


    open
    seatbelts, come this way, evacuate


    assess
    condition:
    ensure door and outside area is safe for
    evacuation


    open exit: ensure assigned
    doors sre armed.open exits and confirm


    slide/rafts are fully inflated

    • evacuate passengers: after slide/raft is fully inflated and safe,commence passenger

      evacuation.be assertive in your commends, as this will accelerate passenger evacuation

      rates. stand at the dedicated assist space or side of door, hold on to assist handle for

      personal safety and quick passenger egress. hesitant passenger should be given a

      firm push at waist level

      monitor situation: continue to assess condition inside the cabin, and on the side

      raft to ensure passenger flow is maintained

      dried-up area: should passenger flow cease at your exit, call other passenger

      to your exit

      check cabin: ensure all passenger have evacuated the cabin. crew may leave

      the aircraft if situation is deemed dangerous or life threatening. attempt should

      be made to evacuate as many passenger as possible

      remove equipment: take or ensure vital safety equipment is taken out


      leave aircraft: evacuate immediately at nearest exit
